a. Removal.
(1)
Remove bolt (1) and washer (2).
Not placing dunnage between floor jack and
oil pan could result in damage to the vehicle.
(2)
Place dunnage between floor jack and oil
pan and raise engine enough to remove
engine mount (3).
(3)
Remove four bolts (4), self-locking nuts (5),
eight washers (6), and engine mount (3).
Discard self-locking nuts.
b. Installation.
(1)
Install engine mount (3) with four bolts (4),
new self-locking nuts (5), and eight
washers (6). Tighten bolts to 40 lbf/ft
(54 Nm).
(2)
Lower engine on engine mount (3).
(3)
Install bolt (1) and washer (2). Tighten bolts
to 139 lbf/ft (189 Nm).
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
Replace nose cone (Para 13-18).
