Remove nut (3) and washer (4) from coolant
reservoir (5) and bracket (6).

Loosen bolt (7) and remove bracket (6) from
remote mount (8).

Unplug wiring harness (9) from five
solenoids (10).
(5)
Remove eight hoses (11) from valve
assembly (12).
(6)
Remove four bolts (7), lockwashers (13), and
washers (14) from remote mount (8) and valve
assembly (12). Discard lockwashers.

Remove valve assembly (12) from remote
mount (8).
(8)
Remove two nuts (15), bolt (16), and
lockwasher (17) from remote mount (8).
Discard lockwasher.

Remove remote mount (8) from
transmission (18).
b. Installation.
NOTE
Ensure all hoses and wires are reconnected
to positions noted prior to removal.
Install cable ties as necessary.
(1)
Install new lockwasher (17), bolt (16), two
nuts (15), and remote mount (8) to
transmission (18). Tighten nuts to 74 lbf/ft
(100 Nm).
(2)
Align valve assembly (12) with remote
mount (8) and install with four washers (14),
new lockwashers (13), and bolts (7).
(3)
Install eight hoses (11) on valve assembly (12).
(4)
Connect wire harness (9) to five solenoids (10).
(5)
Loosen bolt (7) and install bracket (6) on
remote mount (8) and coolant reservoir (5).
(6)
Install washer (4) and nut (3) on bracket (6) and
coolant reservoir (5).
(7)
Tighten bolt (7) on remote mount (8).
