a. Removal.
(1)
Remove screw (1) and mounting bracket (2).
(2)
Remove four screws (3) and access
cover (4).
(3)
Remove five screws (5) and two screws (6).
(4)
While supporting A/C cover (7), remove two
screws (8) and washers (9).
(5)
Detach cable (10) from heater control (11).
(6)
Loosen hose clamp (12) and remove air
duct (13) from A/C cover (7).
b. Installation.
(1)
While supporting A/C cover (7), install air
duct (13) on cover with hose clamp (12).
(2)
Attach cable (10) to heater control (11).
(3)
Install two washers (9) and screws (8).
(4)
Install five screws (5) and two screws (6).
(5)
Install access cover (4) with four screws (3).
(6)
Install mounting bracket (2) with screw (1).
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition
switch (TM 5-2420-230-10).
