Apply a bead of LoctiteTM 609 to the edge of the bushing
that will be installed to the rear of the bore. Apply the
LoctiteTM to 270 degrees of the diameter of the bushing,
see the illustration. Use care to not apply LoctiteTM near to
or in line with the oil hole.
Universal Bushing Installation Tool
Install the camshaft bushing flush with the block.
Be sure the oil hole is aligned.
A 3.2mm [0.126 in] diameter rod must be able to pass
through the hole.
Measure the installed camshaft bushing.
