Use the removed lever as a pattern and mark the re-
placement lever so it can be installed in the same position
as the removed lever.

Align the marks and install the spring and lever.
Install and tighten the lock washer and nut.
Torque Value: 5-10 Nm
[4-7.5 ft-lb]
Overflow Adapter/Sealing Ring - Replace-
ment (5-06)
19 mm
Remove the overflow adapter.
Inspect the sealing surfaces on the adapter and the pump.
Be sure orifice in the adapter is open.
