Do not rock pavement breaker more than 5 degrees each way or equipment damage can occur.
12. Rock tool slightly while hammering (Figure 6) to avoid dust build up in hole.

COLD WEATHER OPERATION

CAUTION
Damage to the hydraulic system or pavement breaker can result from use with fluid that is too
viscous or thick.
Do not rock pavement breaker more than 5 degrees each way or equipment damage can occur.
1.
If the pavement breaker is to be used during cold weather, preheat the hydraulic fluid at low engine speed. When using the
normally recommended fluid, fluid temperature should be at or above 50F (10C) before use (WP 0006).
2.
If bit binds in hole, rock tool side to side (5 degrees maximum angle) to assist in backing out bit.
3.
Keep bit centered in hole.
