Cylinder Block, Liners, Pistons, and Rods
INSPECT PISTON PINS AND BUSHINGS
1. Insert piston pin (A) through piston pin bushing and
carefully clamp in a soft-jawed vise.
2. Rotate connecting rod (B) back and forth several times
to make sure connecting rod moves freely on piston
pin.
3. Remove piston pin from connecting rod.
