Record the engine slow idle speed.
5. Disconnect the speed control cable (A) from
injection pump lever (B).
10. Adjust the fast and external slow idle stops as
needed.
6. Check that injection pump lever moves freely from
external slow idle stop (E) to the fast idle stop (C)
Engine Fast Idle--Specification

Speed................................................. 2150 50 rpm at fast idle stop
7. Start the engine.

8. Push injection pump lever against fast idle stop (C).
Engine Slow Idle--Specification
Speed.................................................................... 1050 + 100 - 0 rpm
Record the engine fast idle speed.
11. Loosen nut (D) on the fast idle stop (C).

as the stop when the HP (high power) mode is
