(20) Route hose (12) through grommet (36) and
install hose on arctic heater (37) with hose
connection (38) and two clamps (39).
Coolant may damage the skin. Wear
protective equipment and avoid skin contact
when handling coolant.
(21) Loosen clamp (40) and remove hose (41)
from fitting (42).
(22) Remove fitting (42) from engine block (43).
(23) Apply Loctite 567 on T-fitting (44),
fitting (42), and fitting (45).
(24) Install fittings (42) and (45) on T-fitting (44).
NOTE
Ensure T-fitting is positioned toward RH
side of vehicle.
(25) Install T-fitting (44) on engine block (43).
(26) Install hose (41) on fitting (42) with clamp
(40).
(27) Install hose (46) on fitting (45) with
clamp (47).
(28) Cut and remove 1 in. (25 mm) from
hose (48), approximately 6.5 in. (165 mm)
below coolant reservoir (49). Discard
removed section of hose.
(29) Install new ends of hose (48) on
Y-fitting (50) with two clamps (51).
(30) Install hose (52) on Y-fitting (50) with
clamp (53).
