(11) Remove screw (20) and cable (21) from frame (22).
(12) Install black wire connector (23) of harness (18) and cable (21) on frame (22) with screw (20).
(13) Measure and mark four hole positions on fuel step plate (24).
(14) Using a 17/64-in. drill bit, drill four holes in fuel step plate (24).
(15) Install two heater mount brackets (25) on fuel step plate (24) with four screws (26) and nuts (27).
(16) Install fuel tank step plate (24) (Para 13-14).
(17) Remove two screws (28), washers (29), and
cover (30) from arctic heater box (31).
Fuel pump must be mounted at a 15 degree
minimum angle from horizontal in order to
prevent air or vapor blockage in pump.
Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
(18) Install fuel pump mounting bracket (11) on
back of arctic heater box (31) with
screw (32) and nut (33), ensuring fuel pump
is at a 15 degree minimum angle from
horizontal.
(19) Connect fuel pump connector (34) of wire harness (18) to fuel pump (8) with clip (35).
