10. Maneuver the machine into the correct position (Figure 9). Once the machine is correctly positioned in the aircraft, place
the transmission in N (NEUTRAL) and engage the parking brake (WP 0004).

11. Re-check the loader end height of 32 in. (Figure 6) and adjust if necessary.
12. Re-check the dipper setting out dimension of 113 in. (Figure 6) and adjust if necessary. Fit and tension the 12 ft ratchet
strap from the BII between the safety chain loops on the towing pintle frame on the boom and the holes in the dipper trol-
ley to ensure maintenance of the 113 in. dimension while in the aircraft.
13. Shut down the engine (WP 0005).
WARNING
DO NOT operate the hydraulic control levers to relieve hydraulic system pressure in the lines as
this may cause the dipper to move an incorrect position and may cause damage to the aircraft
during loading. Leave the excavator control levers in the neutral position.
14. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position (WP 0004).
