CHECK SURGE TANK COOLANT LEVEL
CAUTION: Prevent possible injury from hot
spraying water. DO NOT remove filler cap
unless engine is cool. Then turn cap slowly to
the stop. Release air to relieve all pressure
before you remove cap.
1. Slowly remove cap. Coolant level must be at bottom of
the filler neck.
NOTE: If coolant level is low, check for leaks on surge
tank filler cap and radiator cap, and hose
connections between radiator and coolant
recovery tank.
2. Add coolant, if necessary.
3. Install filler cap.
