Removal and Installation
INSTALL FUEL SUPPLY PUMP
IMPORTANT: Before installing supply pump, test
pump to make sure fuel will not leak
around spindle and spindle seal.
1. Install a new gasket on supply pump mounting face
and position pump over mounting studs.
2. Tighten mounting stud nuts.
Fuel Supply Pump Mounting Stud Nut--Specification
Torque ........................................................ 5--7 Nm (4--5 lb-ft) (45--60
lb-in.)
3. Install fuel inlet and outlet lines and tighten all

connections securely.
