Cylinder Head and Valves
MEASURE VALVE SEATS
1. Measure valve seats for proper specifications listed
below.
2. Using D11010KW Eccentrimeter, measure valve seat
runout (D).
3. If valve seat is not within specification, recondition
valve seat by grinding or replace valve seat inserts (A)
if reconditioning is not possible. (See GRIND VALVE
SEATS or INSTALL VALVE SEAT INSERTS, later in
this group.)
