Cylinder Head and Valves
CLEAN AND INSPECT PUSH RODS
1. Clean push rods with solvent and compressed air.
2. Check push rods for straightness by rolling on a flat
surface.
3. Inspect contact ends for wear and damage.
4. Replace defective push rods.

INSPECT AND CLEAN VENTILATOR OUTLET
HOSE
1. Check ventilator outlet hose on rocker arm cover for
bent or damaged condition. Replace if necessary.
2. Clean ventilator hose if restricted.
