troubleshooting. Reconnect all
connectors and restart
procedure at Malfunction 1.

Verify key switch is in OFF

Wiring Harness
Connector D01
Sockets A and B
Shorted.

Install a jumper wire between
engine interface wiring
harness connector D01
sockets A and B. (Volume 5,
WP 0800, Figure 35)

Turn key switch to ON position,
but DO NOT START ENGINE
(TM 5-3805-294-10). (Volume
5, WP 0794)
4.
Clear and refresh DTCs. Note
if DTC 97.04 is now an active
DTC. (Volume 3, WP 0362)
5.
Turn key switch to OFF

If DTC 97.04 is now an active
position (TM 5-3805-294-10).
DTC, proceed to Malfunction
