WINDSHIELD WASHERS DO NOT WORK.
Step 1.
Check for blocked, damaged, or leaking windshield washer hoses (1) and nozzles (2).
If windshield washer hoses (1) or nozzles (2) are blocked, clear blockage.
If windshield washer hoses (1) or nozzles (2) are damaged or leaking, replace hoses and/or nozzles
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical circuits, a
direct short may result. Damage to equipment and injury or death to personnel may occur.
Step 2.
Check for 24 Vdc on wire 181 at windshield washer pump (3) when front washer switch (4) is pressed
(refer to FO-3).
If 24 Vdc is present on wire 181, replace windshield washer pump (3) (Para 12-31).
If 24 Vdc is not present, check wire 181 for continuity, replace wire as necessary (Para 12-27).
Step 3.
Check for 24 Vdc on wire 190 at front washer switch (4) (refer to FO-3).
If 24 Vdc is present on wire 190, replace indicator arm (5) (Para 12-26).
If 24 Vdc is not present, check wire 190 for continuity, replace wire as necessary (Para 12-27).
