g. Follow-On Maintenance.
(1)
Install fuel sending unit (Para 12-37).
NOTE
If vehicle has cold weather kit, perform
Steps (1.1) and (1.2).
(1.1) Remove plug (6).
(1.2) Install fuel pickup tube assembly (Para 20-9).
(1.3) Install fuel tank step plate (Para 13-14).

Start engine (TM 5-2420-230-10) and check for
leaks.
(3)
Shut OFF engine (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(4)
Install right-front belly plate (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(5)
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition switch
(TM 5-2420-230-10).
