With the aid of an assistant, position valve block (2) on vehicle.
(3)
Install valve block (2) and two grounding wires (8) with four new lockwashers (7) and bolts (6).
(4)
Connect seven plugs (4) to solenoid valves (5) and install screws (3).
(5)
Install 18 hydraulic lines (1) on valve block (2).
f. Follow-On Maintenance.
(1)
Install 20.0 L air tank (Para 15-6).
(2)
Start engine and check for leaks (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(3)
Perform service (Para 10-8) and pressure test (Para 10-6) on valve block.
(4)
Functionally test backhoe and stabilizer cylinders (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(5)
Position backhoe in stowed position (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(6)
Shut OFF engine (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(7)
If valve block was replaced, apply new valve block labels (Para 13-13).
(8)
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition switch (TM 5-2420-230-10).
