Do not operate engine without air filter installed. Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
a. Removal.
(1)
Open air cleaner compartment (1).
(2)
Loosen wingnut (2) and remove cap (3).
(3)
Remove sealing ring (4). Do not discard
sealing ring.
(4)
Remove wingnut (5) and filter element (6).
Discard filter element.
(5)
Remove dust boot (7) from cap (3).
b. Inspection.
(1)
Inspect dust boot (7) and sealing ring (4) for signs of damage or deteriotion.
Change 1
