Do not operate A/C unit without filter installed. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
a. Removal.
(1)
Loosen thumb screw (1) and remove cap (2).
(2)
Remove wingnut (3) and filter element (4).
Discard filter element.
(3)
Remove dust boot (5) from cap (2).
b. Inspection.
(1)
Inspect dust boot (5) for signs of damage or
deterioration.
(2)
Inspect A/C filter housing (6) for damage
and/or deterioration.
(3)
If dust boot (5) or A/C filter housing (6) is
damaged or deteriorated, replace it.
