d. Installation.
(1)
Install two hoses (18) on defroster assembly (4)
with two clamps (17). Torque clamps to 30 lbf/in.
(3.4 Nm).
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,
bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive
electrical circuits, a direct short may result.
Damage to equipment and injury or death to
personnel may occur.
NOTE
Ensure all wires are reconnected to positions
noted prior to removal.
Install cable ties as necessary.
(2)
Connect jumper wire (16) and two wires (15) and
(14) to EMI filter (13).
(3)
Connect two wires (12) and (11) to EMI filter (13).
(4)
Install defroster assembly (4) on vehicle with four
new lockwashers (20) and screws (19).
NOTE
Ensure all hoses are reconnected to
positions noted prior to removal.
