to ignition switch.

Tow hitch removed.

a. Removal.
Hitch assembly is heavy. Use an appropriate lifting device and follow safe working procedures when
lifting or moving hitch assembly. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

Remove four screws (1) from trailer
electrical connector (2) and remove trailer
electrical connector from hitch assembly.
(2)
Remove two hoses (3) from glad hands (4).
(3)
Attach suitable lifting device and sling to
both sides of hitch assembly.
(4)
and washers (6) from two hitch pins (7).
(5)
Remove hitch pins (7) from hitch assembly.
(6)
Remove bolt (8), washer (9), self-locking nut
(10), and alignment pin (11) from hitch
assembly. Discard self-locking nut.
(7)
Lift hitch assembly from backhoe.
