a. Removal.
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment and injury or death to personnel may occur.
NOTE
Tag all wires and note their positions before removal.
Remove cable ties as necessary.

Push in detent ball (1) and remove plug (2) from plug holder (3).

Remove two screws (4), plug holder (3), and cover (5) from battery box (6).

Remove plug holder (3) from cover (5).
(4)
Remove electrical tape from connections.
NOTE
Cut as close to wire connectors as possible.

Cut wire connector (7) from ridged electrical outlet
wire (8), black block heater wire (9) and black
trickle charger wire (10).

Cut wire connector (11) from green electrical
outlet wire (12), green block heater wire (13) and
green trickle charger wire (14).
(7)
Cut wire connector (15) from smooth electrical
outlet wire (16), white block heater wire (17) and
white trickle charger wire (18).
