Monitor low-pressure gage for 10-15 minutes.
NOTE
If vacuum decreases more than 1 in Hg (3.4 kPa) in 10-15 minutes, this indicates there is a
leak in the system, proceed to next step. If no there is no change in vacuum, proceed to
system charging.
9.
Using recovery machine (Figure 5, Item 9) operating instructions, charge system to 1 lb (0.45 kPa).
10.
Close high-pressure (red) hose coupler (Figure 6, Item 8) by turning counter-clockwise.
