Remove two nuts (16) from two studs (17).
(10) Remove charging pump (6) and gasket (18)
from four studs (17) and valve
assembly (19). Discard gasket.
(11) Remove valve assembly (19) and gasket (20)
from four studs (17) and transmission.
Discard gasket.
(12) Remove two O-rings (21) and (22) and
seal (23) from valve assembly (19). Discard
O-rings and seal.
(13) Remove four studs (17) from transmission.
b. Installation.
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds
burn easily and give off vapors that are
harmful to the skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire when using these
materials, and use only in well-ventilated areas. If adhesives, solvents, or sealing compounds contact
the skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water, and rinse thoroughly. Failure to comply
may result in injury or death to personnel.

Apply sealing compound, Loctite 243, to threads of four studs (17).
(2)
Install four studs (17) on transmission.
Cleanliness is essential for correct and safe operation of the hydraulic system. Ensure dirt and debris
are not allowed to enter hydraulic system. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
(3)
Install new seal (23) and two new O-rings (22) and (21) on valve assembly (19).
(4)
Install new gasket (20) and valve assembly (19) on four studs (17) and transmission.
(5)
Install new gasket (18) and charging pump (6) on four studs (17) and valve assembly (19) with two nuts (16).
Torque nuts to 74 lbf/ft (100 Nm).
