Take care when using pry bar not to scratch or score airbag ring. Damage to the ring will render it
unserviceable. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.

Use suitable pry bar to pry airbag off upper airbag ring.
(5)
Roll airbag back over piston.
(6)
Remove screw, washer, and piston retaining chain from axle.
NOTE
The axles must be lowered to remove airbags.

b. Inspection.
Visually inspect airbag and ring for wear or
damage. Replace or repair as necessary.
