a. Removal.
(1)
Remove bump stop (1) from piston (2).
(2)
Inspect bump stop for cracks, splits, and contamination. Replace if necessary.
(3)
Ensure airway on top of airbag mount is clean.
b. Installation.
Install bump stop (1) on piston (2) onto mounting point within airbag, using a rubber mallet.
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
Install airbag (Para 6-5).

Change 1
