Remove two self-locking nuts (4),
washers (5), screws (6), and hose reel
switch (3) from switch bracket (7). Discard
self-locking nuts.

If required, remove four screws (8),
washers (9), and switch bracket (7) from
vehicle.
b. Installation
(1)
If removed, install switch bracket (7) on
vehicle with four washers (9) and screws (8).
(2)
Install hose reel switch (3) on switch
bracket (7) with two screws (6), washers (5),
and new self-locking nuts (4).
(3)
Install cover of hose reel switch (3) with four
screws (2).
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,
bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact
positive electrical circuits, a direct short may
result. Damage to equipment and injury or
death to personnel may occur.
NOTE
Ensure all wires are reconnected to
positions noted prior to removal.
Install cable ties as necessary.

Plug in connector (1).
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
(1)
Connect hose reel and check for proper
operation (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(2)
Stow hose reel (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(3)
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition
switch (TM 5-2420-230-10).
