Wind hose reel (6) in stowed direction until
tension on spring motor (7) is relieved.
Hydraulic fluid (Dexron III) is TOXIC. Wear
protective goggles and gloves; use only in
well ventilated area; avoid contact with skin,
eyes, and clothes. Skin and clothing that
come in contact with hydraulic oil should be
washed immediately. Saturated clothing
should be removed immediately. Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Tag all hoses and note their positions before removal.
Cap and plug all hoses upon removal.

Remove hose (8) from T-fitting (9) and swivel (10).

Remove swivel (10) from hose reel (6).

Remove two self-locking nuts (11), screws (12), spring motor (7) and spring mount spacers (13) from hose
reel (6). Discard self-locking nuts.
NOTE
Perform Steps (7) through (9) only if spring caps and arbor need to be replaced.

Remove outer spring cap (14) from spring motor (7).
(8)
Loosen set screw (15) and remove spring arbor (16) from hub assembly (17).
(9)
Remove inner spring cap (18) from hub assembly (17).
