c. Bleeding and Testing.

If not already removed, remove three
screws (23) and cover (24) from arctic
heater (25).
No smoking, flames, sparks, or glowing
or hot objects are allowed within 50 ft.

cause personal injury or death.
Fuel and oil are slippery and can cause
falls. To avoid injury, wipe up spilled fuel
or oil with rags.
To prevent possible injury, wear gloves
and protective eye equipment when
handling fuel. Failure to comply may
result in injury or death to personnel.

Remove cable tie (26) and hose (27) from
glow pin connection (28).
NOTE
Ensure battery is charged prior to performing

Insert hose (27) into graduated cylinder.

Turn on artic heater (25)
(5)
Allow arctic heater (25) to operate until fuel
is uniform, approximately 40-60 sec. after
turning on artic heater.

Shut off artic heater (25)
(7)
Empty graduated cylinder.
NOTE
If bleeding arctic heater fuel system, go to
Step (13). If testing fuel pump, proceed to
Step (8).
Ensure graduated cylinder is held at the
glow pin height during measurement.

Reinsert hose (27) into graduated cylinder.
