WINDSHIELD ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
WARNING
Replace broken window glass carefully. Wear a pair of heavy leather gloves or other suitable
hand protection. Support window glass during removal and installation, as required, so it does
not drop. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
The parts that are replaced in this procedure will not be found on a HYEX that has the
Supplemental Armor System (SAS) cab installed.

Remove four screws (Figure 1, Item 1) and two covers (Figure 1, Item 2) from windshield assembly (Figure 1,
Item 3). Discard screws.
