Release vacuum on hydraulic reservoir. (WP 0620)

Start engine (TM 5-3805-294-10).
WARNING
Arm cylinder weighs 640 lb (290 kg). Do not attempt to lift or move arm cylinder without the
aid of an assistant and suitable lifting device. Failure to comply may result in injury or death
to personnel.

With the aid of an assistant and suitable lifting device (25), slowly raise arm cylinder (21).
44.
Extend arm cylinder (21) to arm (14).
45.
Install arm cylinder pin (24) and two shims (28) to arm (14) and arm cylinder (21).
46.
Install bolt (23) and two nuts (22) to arm cylinder pin (24) and arm (14).
47.
Tighten two nuts (22) against each other allowing bolt (23) to spin freely.
48.
Remove wood block (26) from boom (27).
49.
Remove suitable lifting device (25) from arm cylinder (21).
50.
Shut engine off (TM 5-3805-294-10).
51.
Relieve hydraulic system pressure. (Volume 5, WP 0767)
52.
Apply vacuum to hydraulic reservoir. (WP 0620)
53.
Release bucket cylinder (3) from arm (14).

Remove wood block (21) from between bucket cylinder (3) and arm (14).

Install pin (10), two shims (13), and arm link (12) to arm (14).
