a. Removal.
Hose reel weighs 86 lb. (39 kg). Use an assistant and follow safe working procedures when lifting or
moving hose reel. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
(1)
With the aid of an assistant, remove four screws (1), lockwashers (2), washers (3), and hose reel (4) from two
adaptor plates (5). Discard lockwashers.
NOTE
Perform Step (2) only if necessary.
(2)
Remove four screws (6), lockwashers (7), washers (8), and adaptor plates (5) from vehicle. Discard lockwashers.
b. Disassembly
(1)
Remove hose reel hose assembly leaving fittings installed (Para 10-34).
(2)
Remove hose reel roller assembly (Para 10-30).
(3)
Remove hose reel spring motor and arbor (Para 10-31).
(4)
Remove hose reel valve assembly (Para 10-33).
