a. Removal.
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment and injury or death to personnel may occur.
NOTE
Tag all wires and note their positions before removal.
Remove cable ties as necessary.
(1)
Remove screw (1), lockwasher (2), and positive (+) battery cable (3). Discard lockwasher.
(2)
Remove screw (4), lockwasher (5), and negative (-) battery cable (6). Discard lockwasher.
(3)
Remove four self-locking nuts (7), washers (8), and bolts (9).
(4)
Remove NATO slave receptacle (10).
