Electrical master switch OFF.

to ignition switch.

a. Removal.
(1)
Remove nut (1) and gas strut (2) from inner
strut bracket (3).
(2)
Remove nut (4) and gas strut (2) from outer
strut bracket (5).
b. Installation.
(1)
Install gas strut (2) on outer strut bracket (5)
with nut (4). Tighten nut.
(2)
Install gas strut (2) on inner strut bracket (3)
with nut (1). Tighten nut.
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition switch (TM 5-2420-230-10).
