TEST FUEL INJECTION NOZZLES
CAUTION: Nozzle tip should always be directed
away from operator. Fuel from spray orifices
can penetrate skin and clothing, causing
serious personal injury. Enclosing nozzle in a
transparent cover, or glass beaker is
recommended.
Before applying pressure to nozzle tester, be
sure all connections are tight and fittings are
not damaged. Fuel escaping from a very small
hole can be almost invisible. Use a piece of
cardboard or wood rather than your hands, to
search for suspected leaks.
If ANY fluid is injected into the skin, it must be
surgically removed within a few hours by a
doctor familiar with this type injury or gangrene
may result.
Before disassembling, test injection nozzles with clean
filtered fuel to determine its condition.
