a. Rear Shaft Removal.
NOTE
The slip joints are precisely aligned on the
steering shafts. Ensure alignment is
maintained during maintenance. Do not
separate.
If front steering shaft only requires
replacement, perform Steps b.1 through
b.6 and e.1 through e.5

Loosen four clamps (1) and remove air
cleaner pipe (2) from vehicle.
