Position fixed end of toe gauge (3) in front of left wheel and tire assembly (1).

Position fixed pointer (4) on center of chalk mark (2).
NOTE
Beginning and end of scribe mark must intersect. If not, wipe off old chalk and rechalk tire.

Rotate left wheel and tire assembly (1) by hand until scribe marks (5) intersect on chalk mark (2).
(7)
Position chalk against center of right wheel and tire assembly (6).
(8)
Rotate right wheel and tire assembly (6) by hand until a 1-in. (25 mm) wide chalk mark (7) is made along center of
tire tread.
(9)
Position adjustable end of toe gauge (3) in front of right wheel and tire assembly (6).
(10) Position adjustable pointer (8) on center of chalk mark (7).
NOTE
Beginning and end of scribe mark must intersect. If not, wipe off old chalk and rechalk tire.
(11) Rotate right wheel and tire assembly (6) by hand until a scribe mark (9) is made along center of tire tread.
(12) Lower vehicle from jacks.
