b. Disassembly.
(1)
Remove four screws (11), lockwashers (12),
and bracket assembly (13) from evaporator
assembly (3). Discard lockwashers.
(2)
Remove three rocker switches (14) from
bracket assembly (13) (Para 12-14).
(3)
Remove decal (15) from bracket
assembly (13) (Para 13-13). Discard decal.
c. Assembly.
(1)
Install new decal (15) on bracket
assembly (13) (Para 13-13).
(2)
Install three rocker switches (14) on bracket
assembly (13) (Para 12-14).
(3)
Install bracket assembly (13) on evaporator
assembly (3) with four new lockwashers (12)
and screws (11).
d. Installation.
NOTE
Ensure all hoses, ducts, and wires are reconnected to positions noted prior to removal.
Install cable ties as necessary.
(1)
With the aid of an assistant, install
evaporator assembly (3) on vehicle with five
washers (10) and bolts (9).
(2)
Install two hoses clamps (7) and coolant
lines (8) on evaporator assembly (3).
(3)
Install TX valve (6) on evaporator
assembly (3). Wrap TX valve as required
with new tacky tape.
