Push wire (Figure 14, Item 38), extractor tool (Figure 14, Item 36), and terminal (Figure 14, Item 39) from the
rear of connector (Figure 14, Item 37) all at the same time.
3.
Cut and remove terminal (Figure 14, Item 39) from wire (Figure 14, Item 38).
4.
Remove 1/4 in. (6 mm) of insulation (Figure 14, Item 40) from end of wire (Figure 14, Item 38).
NOTE
Ensure all strands of wire are inside terminal when installing.
5.
Install wire (Figure 14, Item 38) to terminal (Figure 14, Item 39) and crimp.
NOTE
Terminal will seat only one way. If terminal does not push into the connector body socket,
check to make sure terminal is aligned correctly.
6.
Insert terminal (Figure 14, Item 39) and wire (Figure 14, Item 38) into connector (Figure 14, Item 37) and pull
until terminal (Figure 14, Item 39) stops.
7.
Push on wire (Figure 14, Item 38) to confirm that terminal (Figure 14, Item 39) is locked in connector (Figure
14, Item 37).
