Install grapple (Figure 2, Item 2) to pad angle (Figure 2, Item 3) with two bolts (Figure 2, Item 5), locknuts
(Figure 2, Item 4), and eight washers (Figure 2, Item 6).
3.
If replacing both pad angles, repeat Step (2) for other pad angle (Figure 2, Item 7).
4.
With the aid of an assistant and suitable lifting device (Figure 2, Item 1), place grapple (Figure 2, Item 2) on
the ground.
5.
Remove lifting device (Figure 2, Item 1) from grapple (Figure 2, Item 2).

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install barrier grapple pads as required. (WP 0645)
2.
Perform the Standard Follow-On Maintenance Instructions. (Volume 3, WP 0384)
