Engine shut OFF.
Electrical master switch OFF.

to ignition switch.

a. Removal.
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment and injury or death to personnel may occur.
(1)
Remove four screws (1), washers (2), and
protective screen (3).
(2)
Remove two screws (4) and tail lenses (5).
(3)
Remove light bulbs (6), as required.
b. Installation.
(1)
Install light bulbs (6), as required.
(2)
Install two tail lenses (5) and two screws (4).
(3)
Install protective screen (3), four washers (2),
and screws (1).
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
(1)
Place electrical master switch in ON position (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(2)
Functionally test taillights (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(3)
Place electrical master switch in OFF position (TM 5-2420-230-10).
(4)
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition switch (TM 5-2420-230-10).
