Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) and starter protection wiring harness connector (Figure 2, Item
34) to starter motor solenoid terminal (Figure 2, Item 35) with lockwasher (Figure 2, Item 33) and nut (Figure
2, Item 32).
3.
Position boot (Figure 2, Item 31) over starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) and starter motor solenoid terminal
(Figure 2, Item 35).
4.
Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to frame (Figure 2, Item 18) with clamp (Figure 2, Item 30),
washer (Figure 2, Item 29), and bolt (Figure 2, Item 28).
5.
Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to frame (Figure 2, Item 18) with clamp (Figure 2, Item 27),
washer (Figure 2, Item 26), and bolt (Figure 2, Item 25).
6.
Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to frame (Figure 2, Item 18) with clamp (Figure 2, Item 24),
washer (Figure 2, Item 23), and bolt (Figure 2, Item 22).
7.
Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to frame (Figure 2, Item 18) with clamp (Figure 2, Item 21),
washer (Figure 2, Item 20), and bolt (Figure 2, Item 19).
8.
Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to frame (Figure 2, Item 18) with clamp (Figure 2, Item 17),
washer (Figure 2, Item 16), and bolt (Figure 2, Item 15).
9.
Install slave receptacle positive cable (Figure 2, Item 13), machine wiring harness connector (Figure 2, Item
12), and starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to battery relay K19 (Figure 2, Item 14) with washer (Figure
2, Item 11) and screw (Figure 2, Item 10).
10.
Install starter positive cable (Figure 2, Item 9) to frame (Figure 2, Item 4) with clamp (Figure 2, Item 8), washer
(Figure 2, Item 7), and screw (Figure 2, Item 6).
11.
Install cover (Figure 2, Item 3) to frame (Figure 2, Item 4) with three washers (Figure 2, Item 2) and screws
(Figure 2, Item 1).

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install engine compartment lower access cover. (WP 0593)
2.
Install cooling compartment lower access cover. (WP 0591)
3.
Connect negative battery cable. (WP 0521)
4.
Perform the Standard Follow-On Maintenance Instructions. (Volume 3, WP 0384)
