NOTE
If fender, hold down-strip, or arm assembly has been replaced, modifications must be made prior to
installation of the MLC placard. Follow Steps (7) and (8).

From outside hole position on hold-down
strip (7), remove bolt (6), and measure in from
center of hole position 2.88 in. (73.1 mm) and
mark hole position on hold-down strip (7).

Using a 11/32 -in. drill bit, drill hole through
hold-down strip (7), fender (5) and arm
assembly (16).
c. Follow On Maintenance.
(1)
Install MLC placard (Para 13-37) (right front
fender only).
(2)
Remove "Do Not Operate" tag from ignition
switch (TM 5-2420-230-10).
